Where are you based and how far do you travel?

MASS are based in beautiful Sunny Sligo on the wild Atlantic Way and perform all over Ireland and beyond!

Can you also supply a DJ?

Yes! Our DJ is awesome and will start as soon as the band has finished and spin until the venue tells him to stop. He is happy to play any and all requests. We encourage you to send us sample playlists and any tunes that you really love.

How much is your fee? 

That depends on different factors but our fee usually hits around the low 2k for just the band, and mid-2k for band + DJ, our most popular package. Please contact us with your details for an exact quote. This quote will include all travel expenses and there will be no hidden costs.

Do you offer additional services like drinks reception music?

Yes! You can book a groovy jazz quartet with saxophone for your pre-dinner drinks reception. Or if you prefer a lively, hoppin’ Irish trad band. We can also work with you to provide beautiful live music for your wedding ceremony featuring classical guitar and voice. Please contact us for more info and prices on all our services.​

​How long does it take to set up?

Our load-in, set up, and soundcheck take about an hour and can start once the stage area is clear and available to us.

Can you set up before the meal?

That is possible but would require an additional fee. 

How long do you play and do you take breaks?

The band plays for 2.5 hours with a break. The break will be coordinated with the venue for when the late-night refreshments are served.

Do you provide your own equipment? 

We travel with a top-level professional light and sound system which can be adjusted to suit any room.

Can I choose some of the songs?

We allow some flexibility in song choices. Please contact us directly if you have thoughts on anything you specifically would or would not like to hear.

Do you take requests

We can accommodate your First Dance song but otherwise we do not take requests. Our DJ however is happy to take any and all requests.

Should the band play our first dance song live or is a recording better?

The First Dance is always a beautiful moment and how you do it is totally up to you. Of course in our opinion music is always better live, and we can cover almost any song you like. However if you think the original would be better we can facilitate playback on our PA and then go seamlessly into our live set. We can also make suggestions for a good first dance song if you want to have one but are unsure of which.

What happens if things are running behind schedule?

We understand that sometimes weddings have delays and we will offer as much flexibility as we can. 

Can you provisionally hold a date?

No. We get a lot of enquiries so all are treated on a first come/first served basis. But booking the band is an easy process and you only need a small deposit to secure your date.

Do you play at other occasions as well as weddings?

Of course! We love playing pubs and clubs, birthday parties, events, festivals, and any other occasion that we can add our unique funky sound to. We also play regular East Coast (Bray) and West Coast (Sligo) public showcase gigs. Please watch our social media for info on any upcoming public gigs.

Where can we see MASS play?
